Notebook-Header= Short | Full

Determines whether or not individual message in notebook archives are stored with full Internet header information or with "short" headers. The default is "Notebook-Header= Short".

The primary reason for the default is to prevent notebook archive files from filling up with non-essential RFC821 header information, which is a waste of disk space for most types of lists.  Modern email headers can constitute a significant portion of the full message, so it is generally in the best interest of all concerned to remove them when storing messages in the archives.

The default value does not restrict or have any bearing whatsoever on the amount of header material contained in list messages sent to subscribers.
